What Is the DIPAS DRDO Paid Internship 2025?
DIPAS is one of the top labs under DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation), located in Delhi. It is offering a 6-month paid internship to final-year B.Tech/B.E. and M.Tech/M.E. students. The internship will be held at DIPAS, Delhi and its unit DIBER, Haldwani.
This internship is meant to help students get practical experience and learn how research is done in real defence labs.

DIPAS DRDO Paid Internship 2025 Details
The DIPAS DRDO Paid Internship 2025 is a six-month internship program that will run from 1st August 2025 to 31st January 2026. Selected students will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000, which will be paid in two equal parts — ₹15,000 after the first three months and ₹15,000 after the completion of the internship. Students will also receive a certificate of completion after successfully finishing the full 6-month duration and submitting their project report.
There are a total of 8 internship positions available: 3 in Mechanical Engineering (2 at Delhi and 1 at Haldwani), 1 in Computer Science Engineering (Delhi), 2 in Electronics Engineering (1 at Delhi and 1 at Haldwani), and 2 in Electrical Engineering (Haldwani).
DIPAS DRDO Paid Internship 2025 Eligibility
This internship is open to students who are in the final year of B.Tech/B.E. or M.Tech/M.E., and are currently studying full-time at a recognized Indian university or institute. The eligible branches include Mechanical & Automation Engineering, Production Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication, and Electrical Engineering.

To apply, students must prepare their application in the prescribed format. The application must include a bio-data (within 300 words), a referral letter from the college Principal or Director, and details of academic achievements, if any.
