The Defence Electronics Research Laboratory (DLRL), operating under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has officially released the notification for DRDO DLRL Paid Internship 2025.
This internship offers an opportunity for final-year engineering students to gain practical exposure in defence-related research while receiving a respectable stipend of ₹30,000 over six months. The internship will be held at DLRL’s headquarters in Hyderabad, one of DRDO’s key R&D centres.

The DLRL internship program is open to final-year B.E./B.Tech students for the academic year 2025–2026, in the following disciplines:

DRDO DLRL Paid Internship 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the DRDO DLRL Internship 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Basic Requirements
- Must be pursuing full-time B.E./B.Tech in final year (2025–2026).
- Must not have any academic backlogs.
- Should provide a referral/sponsorship letter from the respective college.
- Police Verification Certificate is mandatory upon selection.
- Internship is valid only for six-month duration.

DLRL Hyderabad Internship Stipend and Terms
Total stipend of ₹30,000, paid in two installments:
- ₹15,000 after 3 months
- ₹15,000 after 6 months
Minimum attendance: 15 working days per month to qualify for stipend.
Lodging, food, transportation, and medical costs are not covered.
Completion of internship does not guarantee employment in DRDO.
DLRL Hyderabad Internship 2025 Selection Process
The selection will be merit-based, considering:
- Aggregate marks from the first three years of engineering.
- In case of tie in marks, preference will be given to the older candidate based on date of birth.
DRDO DLRL Paid Internship 2025 How to Apply
Students who wish to apply must download the prescribed application form from the official DRDO website (www.drdo.gov.in) and fill it accurately. The completed application, along with all required documents—including Aadhaar Card, college ID, bonafide certificate, academic mark sheets (up to the 3rd year), and sponsorship letter—must be scanned and emailed to hrdc.dlrl@gov.in.

Upon selection, candidates will be asked to submit the original hard copies and the police verification certificate at the time of joining. The last date to submit the application is 10th July 2025, and no applications will be considered after this deadline.
