Instruction to the candidate for WBHRB Recruitment 2024:-
If you want to apply for the EWS reservation, you need to provide an income and asset certificate. This certificate should be issued by one of the following authorities: District Magistrate, Sub Divisional Officer, or DWO, Kolkata for Kolkata Municipal Corporation Area. You can find the prescribed format for this certificate in annexure-C of office memorandum no. 325-PAR(AR)/3P-1/2019 dated 09/07/2019 from the Personnel & Administrative Reforms Department, Administrative Reforms Cell.
Once you produce this certificate, it’ll be checked for authenticity. If it’s found to be fake or false, your application will be rejected. Remember, you must indicate your claim for EWS status during the online application process; claims made after applying won’t be accepted.
All other terms and conditions for EWS reservation will be followed according to Memo No. 325-PAR(AR)/3P-1/2019 dated 09/07/2019 from the Personnel & Administrative Reforms Department, Govt. of West Bengal, along with notification No. 18-Emp(EC)/LABR-27011(20)/1/2020-EC dated 07/02/2023 from the Labour Department, (Exempted Category Cell).
Departmental candidates are eligible for the post, but being shortlisted doesn’t guarantee a recommendation or appointment.
Make sure you have all the essential qualifications when you submit your application; any certificates or experience gained after the application deadline won’t be considered. Even if the deadline for application is extended, any qualifications or certificates obtained during the extension period won’t be accepted.
