SSC Delhi Police & CAPF Recruitment 2024 – Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Educational Qualification for all posts is a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
Age Limit: The age limit for the posts is 20 to 25 years; i.e. Candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1999 and not later than 01.08.2004 to be eligible to apply.
Salary Details:
• Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs: The post carries a pay scale of Level-6 (Rs.35,400 to 1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial.
• Sub-Inspector (Executive) – (Male/Female) in Delhi Police: The post carries a pay scale of Level-6 (Rs.35,400 to 1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group ‘C’ by Delhi Police.

The selection process for the position of Sub Inspector (SI) in the CAPF & Delhi Police conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) typically involves several stages. Here’s a general overview of the selection process:
Online Written Examination Or Computer-Based Examinations: The first stage usually involves an online written examination consisting of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The exam generally covers topics such as General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension.
Physical Endurance Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates who qualify for the written examination are then required to undergo a Physical Endurance and Physical Standard Test. This test evaluates candidates’ physical fitness and includes tasks such as running, long jump, high jump, etc. It also includes measurement of height, chest, etc.
Medical Examination: Candidates who clear the Physical Endurance and Physical Standard Test are subjected to a thorough medical examination to ensure they are medically fit for the job.
Document Verification: After clearing the medical examination, candidates need to undergo document verification. They must provide all necessary documents and certificates to verify their eligibility for the position.
