Eligibility Criteria for IB Recruitment 2024

Education Qualification: –

Deputy Director/ Tech (02 vacancies), General Central Service (Group ‘A’), Gazetted, Non-Ministerial –

• (i) Candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering [B.E or B. Tech or B.Sc(Engg)] awarded by a recognized University.
• (ii) twelve years experience in research and development or manufacture or application in the area of telecommunication equipment or computer or telecommunication network or signal monitoring Communication Intelligence(COMINT) Technical Intelligence (TECHINT) or Information Technology (IT).
• Desirable Skills:
  (i) Project Management Skills (IT/Civicon/Satellite Network/Data Centres)
  (ii) GPS, GIS
  (iii) Ground Segment

Additional Deputy Director/Cryptography-Cypher cadre (01 vacancies), General Central Service (Group-A), Gazetted, Non-Ministerial –

• (i) Candidate must have passed a Master’s Degree in Mathematics Mathematical Statistics or Statistics or Computer Science or Computer Applications Information Technology from a recognized University or Institute. OR
• (ii) Candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in the disciplines of Computer Engineering or Computer Science Computer Technology or Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology from a recognized university or institute.
  AND
• (iii) 10 years experience in the field of Cryptography using Digital Techniques or
  Secure Data Communications using Digital Techniques.

Joint Deputy Director (Executive) (13 vacancies), General Central Service (Group ‘A’), Gazetted Non-Ministerial –

• (i) Candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent
• (ii) 10 years provided 5 years’ experience in intelligence work.

Assistant Director (Executive) (22 vacancies), General Central Service (Group ‘A’), Gazetted Non-Ministerial (non-IPS) –

• (i) Candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent; and
• (ii) seven years’ provided three years’ experience in intelligence work.

Deputy Central Intelligence Officer/Executive (106 vacancies), General Central Service (Group A), Gazetted, Non-Ministerial (non-IPS) –

• (i) Candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or equivalent; and
• (ii) Five years provided three years of experience in the field of intelligence collection.

Deputy Central Intelligence Officer/Tech (10 vacancies), General Central Service, Group A, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial –

• (i) Candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E or B.Tech or B.Sc(Engg)) awarded by a recognized University.
• Desirable Skills:
  (i) Mobile App Development
  (ii) Network Administration & Security

  (iv) Cyber Security
  (v) Digital/Computer/Cyber Forensics

Deputy Central Intelligence Officer/Tech-Telephone (01 vacancies), General Central Service, Group A, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial –

• (i) Candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E or B.Tech or B.Sc(Engg)) in the fields of Electronics and Communication or Electronics and Telecommunication or Telecommunication(B.Tel.E i.e Bachelor of Telecommunication Engineering) from a recognized University.
• (ii) Three years experience in one of the following fields: –
  (a) Telecommunication workshop.
  (b) Installation, maintenance, overhauling, and testing of a telecommunication network.
  (c) Working on the technical side in the manufacture of telecommunication equipment.

Senior Research Officer (2 vacancies), General Central Service (Group-A), Gazetted, Non-Ministerial –

• (i) Candidate must have passed a (i) Master’s degree in Economics/ Statistics/ Business Administration/ Management or Commerce from a recognized University or equivalent.
• (ii) Five years experience in Macro-Economic Analysis/ Research work and preparation of reports on contemporary economic issues and future economic trends.
