Rajasthan PTET Result 2025 Declared – The Vardhman Mahavir Open University (VMOU), Kota has officially announced the Rajasthan Pre-Teacher Education Test (PTET) 2025 result on 2nd July 2025.
This result pertains to both the 2-Year B.Ed and 4-Year Integrated B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed. courses for the academic session 2025–26. The examination, held on 15th June 2025.
Conducted by Vardhman Mahavir Open University (VMOU), Kota, this examination is the gateway for admission to 2-Year B.Ed and 4-Year Integrated B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed. programs across various colleges in Rajasthan.
Overview of PTET 2025
The PTET is an annual entrance test that evaluates candidates for their suitability to enter teacher training programs. This year’s examination was held on 15th June 2025, following the application window that remained open from 5 March to 5 May 2025. The application fee was uniformly set at ₹500 for all categories, and the payment was accepted via online mode.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria differ based on the course:
- For 2-Year B.Ed.: Candidates must hold a graduation degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS/PwD/Widow/Divorced women from Rajasthan).
- For 4-Year B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed.: Candidates should have passed Senior Secondary (12th class) with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories as above).
There is no age limit for applying to either program, encouraging broader participation from all eligible candidates.

Follow these easy steps to check your PTET 2025 result:
- Go to ptetvmoukota2025.com or ptetvmou2025.com.
- Choose the result link for your course:
- “PTET 2-Year B.Ed Result 2025”
- or “PTET 4-Year B.A. B.Ed/B.Sc. B.Ed Result 2025”
- Enter your roll number or application number and date of birth.
- Click on the Submit button. Your result will appear on the screen.
- Download the result and take a printout for future use during counseling.

Rajasthan PTET Reservation Policy
As per government norms, category-wise reservations for Rajasthan domicile candidates are provided:
- SC: 16%
- ST: 12%
- OBC: 21%
- MBC: 5%
- EWS: 10%
- Women: Specific 8% for widows and 2% for divorced women
- PwD: 5%
- Defence Personnel (and dependents): 5%
Candidates from outside Rajasthan are eligible only for General category and up to 5% of total seats are reserved for them, provided their merit matches or exceeds the Rajasthan General category cut-off.
Rajasthan PTET Counseling Process
Post-result declaration, online counseling will be conducted through the official portal. Candidates are required to register and pay a counseling fee of ₹5,000, which is adjustable in the total course fee. Seat allotment will be based on the candidate’s merit, course preferences, reservation category, and college options filled during counseling.
Important Counseling Notes:
- If a candidate fails to report to the allotted college, ₹200 will be deducted from the counseling fee.
- If a candidate deposits ₹22,000 but doesn’t join the college, ₹600 will be deducted.
- Seat allocation is final and generally cannot be changed except under specific provisions.
