Eligibility Criteria for NIT Meghalaya Recruitment 2024

Education Qualification: –

Technical Assistant in Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering –

• Candidate must have Passed a First Class or equivalent Grade in B.E./ B. Tech./ MCA in Computer Science from a recognized University/ Institute.
  Or
  First Class Diploma in Computer Science Engineering with excellent academic record.

Age Limit – Candidates’ upper age limit should be 30 years according to their posts as per the last date of receipt of the application form.

Technician in Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering, Technician in Computer Centre, and Technician in Electronics & Communication Engineering – 

• Candidate must have Passed a Senior Secondary (10+2) from a Government recognized Board with at least 60% marks.
  OR
• Candidate must have Passed a Senior Secondary (10+2) from a Government Board with at least 50% marks and an ITI Course of one year or higher duration in Computer Science/ Information & Technology Trades.
  OR
• Candidate must have Passed a Secondary (10) with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 years duration in Computer
  Science/ Information & Technology Trades.
  OR
• Candidate must have Passed a Diploma in Engineering of three years duration in Computer Science & Engineering / Information & Technology from a recognized Polytechnic/ Institute.

Age Limit – Candidates’ upper age limit should be 27 years according to their posts as per the last date of receipt of the application form.

Superintendent – 

• Candidate must have Passed a First class Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institute in any discipline.
  OR
• Master’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade.
• Knowledge of Computer applications viz., Word processing, Spread Sheet.

Age Limit – Candidates’ upper age limit should be 30 years according to their posts as per the last date of receipt of the application form.
