MECON Limited has announced a recruitment drive for multiple executive positions. The public sector undertaking has invited applications from qualified, experienced, and motivated professionals for various engineering and administrative roles across the organization.
The online application process will begin on 5th July 2025 and will close on 3rd August 2025. Candidates are advised to apply well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute technical difficulties.
Executive Openings in Engineering and Administrative Fields
This recruitment offers opportunities at both E-2 and E-3 grades, with a total of 13 executive positions across disciplines like Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, and Corporate Communication.
- Deputy Manager (Mechanical): Applicants must hold an M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with at least five years of relevant experience in hydro-electric projects or air pollution control system design.
- Deputy Manager (Civil): Requires M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering and five years of experience in the design of concrete structures. Preference will be given to candidates who graduated from institutes recognized as โInstitutes of National Importance.โ
- Manager (Civil and Structural): Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with a minimum of nine years of relevant experience in industrial structural design. Those with experience in steel plant projects and site supervision will be given additional preference.
- Manager (Liaison Officer): This position is open to candidates with an MBA in HR/Marketing or an MA in Mass Communication/Journalism. At least nine years of experience in liaisoning, public relations, media, or corporate communications is essential.
Salary, Age Limit, and Benefits
For the Deputy Manager posts (E-2 grade), the pay scale is between โน60,000 and โน1,80,000. For Manager posts (E-3 grade), the pay scale ranges from โน80,000 to โน2,20,000. The upper age limit is 32 years for E-2 grade and 36 years for E-3 grade. Age relaxations are available for candidates belonging to reserved categories, as per government norms.
Additionally, for every extra year of relevant experience beyond the minimum requirement, one year of age relaxation (up to a maximum of three years) is permitted.

Shortlisted individuals will be invited for a personal interview, which will be the sole mode of selection. The date, time, and venue of the interview will be shared via email and published on the official website of MECON.
It is important to note that selected candidates can be posted at any project site or office of the company across India. MECON has emphasized that only candidates willing to work anywhere in the country should apply.

Application Procedure and Fees
Applications must be submitted online through MECONโs official website. No other mode of application will be accepted. Along with the application, candidates must upload scanned copies of their photograph, signature, and relevant documents, including educational certificates, experience proof, and identification.
An application fee of โน1000 is applicable for General, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), and EWS candidates. SC, ST, PwD, Ex-servicemen, and internal candidates are exempted from paying the fee. The fee must be paid online through the payment gateway provided on the portal.
