CSEET 2025 Mode of Examination and Pattern

The CSEET will be conducted in computer-based mode with a duration of 2 hours (120 minutes). The test will consist of four papers, each with 35 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each section carries 50 marks, making the total 200 marks.

Here is the section-wise structure:

  1. Business Communication – 35 questions – 50 marks
  2. Legal Aptitude & Logical Reasoning – 35 questions – 50 marks
  3. Economic & Business Environment – 35 questions – 50 marks
  4. Current Affairs & Quantitative Aptitude – 35 questions – 50 marks

To pass the exam, candidates must secure at least 40% marks in each paper and 50% in total aggregate. Importantly, there is no negative marking for wrong answers.

Remote Proctored Mode at CSEET 2025

This year’s exam will not take place in physical centers. Instead, it will be monitored online by live human proctors and Artificial Intelligence tools. Candidates are required to use a laptop or desktop with a functioning webcam, microphone, and stable internet connection.

Before the actual exam, candidates must install a special Safe Exam Browser (SEBLite) on their system, the link for which will be provided by ICSI. The browser restricts access to other resources and ensures a secure environment during the exam.
