Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has released the official notification for the HPCL Graduate Apprentice Trainee Recruitment 2025, inviting applications from eligible engineering graduates across various disciplines.

HPCL Graduate Apprentice Trainee Recruitment 2025

HPCL, a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, has launched its recruitment drive for Graduate Apprentice Trainees (Engineering) for the year 2025-26.

The apprenticeship program is open for engineering graduates from 8 disciplines, including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and more. The selected candidates will be trained at HPCL’s Marketing Division locations spread across India.

HPCL Graduate Apprentice 2025 – Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold a full-time Engineering Degree in one of the following disciplines:

• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
• Instrumentation Engineering
• Computer Science / IT

Minimum Marks Requirement:

• General/OBC/EWS: 60% aggregate
• SC/ST/PwBD: 50% aggregate

Note: Only those who graduated on or after 1st April 2022 are eligible. Candidates with work experience of one year or more are not eligible.

Age Limit (as on 30th May 2025)

HPCL Graduate Apprentice 2025 – Selection Process

The selection for HPCL Graduate Apprentice Trainee will be done based on:

1. Merit List – Based on academic performance (Engineering degree percentage).
2. Interview – Candidates will be called in stream-wise and category-wise order.
3. Medical Fitness – As per HPCL standards.
4. Document Verification – Age, Qualification, Caste, PwBD certificate (if applicable), and Medical fitness documents.

Note: Final selection will be based on combined performance in academic scores and interview.

HPCL Graduate Apprentice Trainee – Stipend

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹25,000/-, of which:

• ₹20,500/- will be paid by HPCL
• ₹4,500/- will be paid directly by the Government of India under the DBT scheme
