Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) has released the official JIPMER Faculty Recruitment 2025 Notification PDF for regular posts of Professor and Assistant Professor in Microbiology and Pharmacology.

JIPMER Faculty Eligibility Criteria 2025
Here are the Educational Qualification & Experience:
Professor (Microbiology / Pharmacology)
Medical Stream:
- MBBS degree listed under the Indian Medical Council Act.
- MD in Microbiology / Pharmacology (as applicable).
- 14 years of teaching/research experience post-MD.
Non-Medical Stream (Pharmacology only):
- Master’s in Pharmacology or allied subjects.
- Ph.D. in the concerned discipline.
- 14 years of post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience.
Assistant Professor (Microbiology)
- Same qualifications as Professor.
- 3 years of post-MD teaching/research experience in Microbiology.
Note: DNB qualification must meet NMC equivalence criteria. Teaching experience must be from recognized institutions post-qualification.
