Age Limit
As of May 1, 2025, candidates must be between 18 and 26 years of age. This means applicants must have been born not earlier than May 1, 1999, and not later than May 1, 2007. Both dates are inclusive.
Bank of Baroda Office Assistant Age Relaxation
Certain categories of candidates are eligible for age relaxation as per government guidelines:
- Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST): 5 years relaxation (up to 31 years)
- Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years relaxation (up to 29 years)
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years relaxation
- Ex-Servicemen: Actual service rendered in the armed forces plus 3 years (maximum age capped at 50 years)
- Widows, Divorced Women, and Judicially Separated Women (Not Remarried):
- Up to 35 years for General/EWS
- Up to 38 years for OBC
- Up to 40 years for SC/ST

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have successfully passed the 10th Standard (Matriculation or SSC) from a recognized educational board in India as of May 1, 2025. No higher qualification is required for this post.
However, candidates must ensure that:
- The final result of the 10th standard exam is declared on or before the eligibility cutoff date.
- They are able to produce original documents/mark sheets during verification.
If the result was published online, a printed certificate issued by the relevant education board confirming the declared result will be required for verification.
Proficiency in Local Language for Bank of Baroda Office Assistant
Language proficiency is a key requirement for the Office Assistant position. Since recruitment is being conducted state-wise, each candidate must be able to read, write, and speak the local/official language of the state or union territory they are applying for.
Candidates who do not demonstrate adequate fluency during the Local Language Proficiency Test conducted after the online exam may be disqualified, even if they meet all other criteria.

Non-Indian candidates must produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
Credit History
While it is not a prerequisite to apply, candidates should have a healthy credit record at the time of joining. A minimum CIBIL score of 650 is recommended. Candidates with negative credit history may be asked to submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from relevant lenders if their CIBIL status is not updated.
Those without any banking history are exempt from this requirement.
