AAI ER Apprentice Recruitment 2025: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has issued a notification for the recruitment of 135 Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the Eastern Region (ER).
The apprenticeship training will be conducted at AAI’s Regional Headquarters (ER), Kolkata, and various airports across West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Sikkim, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The last date to apply online is May 31, 2025.

AAI ER Apprentice Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Only Indian nationals from the Eastern Region (West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Sikkim, A&N Islands) can apply.
Education Qualification:
- Graduate Apprentices: Full-time 4-year degree in Engineering (AICTE approved).
- Diploma Apprentices: 3-year diploma in Engineering (AICTE approved).
- ITI Trade Apprentices: NCVT/ITI Certificate in COPA, Electrical, Mechanic, or Electronics.
Pass-out Year: Candidates who passed in 2023 or later are eligible.
Age Limit: Maximum 26 years as of March 31, 2025 (age relaxation as per government norms).
Application Process for AAI ER Apprentice Recruitment
For Graduate & Diploma Apprentices:
- Visit the NATS Portal.
- Register and search for Airports Authority of India – RHQ ER, Kolkata using Establishment ID: EWBPNC000015.
- Click “Apply” on the desired apprenticeship opportunity.
For ITI Trade Apprentices:
- Go to NAPS Portal.
- Register and apply using the same Establishment ID as above.

Selection Process for AAI ER Apprentice Recruitment 2025
- Merit-based shortlisting based on marks in qualifying exam.
- In case of a tie, preference will be given to the candidate with earlier date of birth and passing year.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification via registered email.
- Final selection is subject to verification of original documents and a medical fitness certificate.
- No TA/DA or accommodation will be provided during any stage of the selection process.
