Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications (Essential):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Communications, Telecommunications, IT, Computers, or Electrical Engineering with specialization in Electronics/Communications/Computers.
- A minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA is mandatory.
Desirable Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates possessing:
- A valid GATE Score in ECE/CS or related fields.
- Postgraduate (M.Tech/MS) or PhD degrees in relevant disciplines.
- Minimum 1-year work experience in a related field or a 6-month internship with NCCS/TEC.
Age Limit (as on the date of notification):
- Below 28 years for Graduates (BE/B.Tech)
- Below 30 years for Postgraduates (M.Tech/MS)
- Below 35 years for PhD holders
Selection Process
The selection process for NCCS Research Associate Recruitment 2025 includes two stages:
Shortlisting based on merit:
- Academic scores, GATE scores, institutional rankings, relevant experience, and qualifications will be evaluated using a 100-mark scale.
- Only the top 3xN candidates (15 candidates for 5 posts) will be shortlisted for the interview.
Interview:
- Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by a Selection Committee.
- The final merit list will be published based on combined scores of merit and interview performance.
Remuneration and Benefits
- The monthly consolidated pay is ₹75,000/- (all-inclusive).
- A yearly increment of ₹7,500/- is applicable based on satisfactory performance.
- RAs will receive TA/DA for official travel, with reimbursements for accommodation, food, and transportation.
- Maternity Leave for female RAs is allowed as per GoI norms.
- RAs are eligible for 8 days of leave per year on a pro-rata basis.
