WBSETCL Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
WBSETCL Recruitment Qualification Details:
Graduate Apprentice (Electrical) – Graduation in Electrical Engineering (04 years full-time course) from any Institute recognized by the AICTE.
Technician Apprentice (Electrical) – Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Technology (03 years full-time course) from any institute recognized by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education.
WBSETCL Recruitment Age Limit Details:
The minimum age of the candidates should be as follows:

Date of Birth will be taken as that mentioned in the Birth Certificate, issued by the Competent Authority / Certificate or Admit card of Madhyamik or equivalent examination. No other proof of date of birth shall be accepted.

WBSETCL Recruitment Stipend Details:
The monthly stipend will be paid as per the below-mentioned prescribed rates governed by the Apprenticeship Act, 1961:

Leave Details: An apprentice shall be entitled to such holidays as are observed in WBSETCL as per its holiday list. Besides this, they will enjoy the following leaves:
i) Casual Leave: 14 days CL per year may be admissible to an apprentice (starting from the date of joining).
ii) Medical Leave: 10 days ML per year may be granted to an apprentice (starting from the date of joining).
iii) Extra-ordinary Leave: As per Existing rules of the Company.
Place of Training: The selected candidates will be posted for training at Substations/Offices of the Company spread across the state of West Bengal.
Period of Apprenticeship Training: The total period of the training will be for 12 months commencing from the date of execution of the Contract of Apprenticeship.
Termination of Contract: After completion of the apprenticeship training for the stipulated period, the Apprenticeship Contract shall automatically cease. There shall be no obligation on the part of WBSETCL to offer any employment thereafter. Further, any act of indiscipline on the part of the apprentices may lead to cancellation of the training and termination of the Contract with the Apprentice. Suppression of facts or submission of wrong information, whether wilfully or inadvertently, may also lead to disqualification at any stage of the selection process or even during the training period.
Selection Procedure for WBSETCL Recruitment 2024
The selection shall be made based on merit (i.e. based on the overall percentage (%) of marks secured in the qualifying examination) from the list of registered candidates, downloaded from the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) web portal (nats.education.gov.in).

How to Apply for WBSETCL Recruitment 2024
The interested eligible candidates are required to register themselves in the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) web portal (nats.education.gov.in) and apply for “West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited” from the establishment list in the said portal using their NATS login ID within 27.03.2023 (upto 4.00 P.M.). The candidates are required to update their details in the NATS portal, especially the Name, Mobile Number, E-mail ID, Percentage of Mark, Father’s Name, Community/Caste, and Year of Passing. No other mode of application will be accepted.
