West Bengal Public Service Commission Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria : 

To apply for this recruitment if you have Degree in Handloom or Textile Technology from any University or recognized Institution and two years experience in Textile or Handloom Industry OR if you have Diploma in Handloom or Textile Technology from any University or recognized Institution. And with five years experience in textile or handloom industry you can apply. Knowing how to speak and write Bengali or Nepali is also important.
Age limit : To join this job, you must be no older than 36 years old by January 1, 2024. If you’re from certain groups like Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, or Other Backward Classes, your maximum age limit can follow the current government rules.

WBPSC Technical Officer Recruitment 2024 – Selection Process : 

To apply for this job, you need to meet certain requirements. The Commission may relax the minimum marks needed, especially if many positions in certain categories are still vacant. The scores from the initial screening test won’t be used to create the list of top candidates. Instead, they will only be considered to narrow down the number of people called for an interview.

After the multiple-choice questions (MCQ) answers are posted on the PSC website, candidates can raise objections within a specific timeframe. Once that time passes, no more objections will be accepted. In case of ties in the screening test scores, all candidates with the same scores as the last person in their category will be invited for an interview.

This might result in a higher number of candidates being called for interviews in a particular category compared to others. However, if candidates score the same in the interview, preference will be given to the one who is older based on their date of birth. If the birthdates are the same, the candidate with a higher percentage of marks in the minimum academic qualification exam will be given priority.

WBPSC Recruitment 2024 – Application Fee :

To apply for this job, you need to pay Rs. 210/-. But if you are from certain categories in West Bengal or have a physical disability of 40% and above, you don’t need to pay any fee. However, BC candidates from West Bengal must pay the regular fee. People from S.C./S.T. categories from other states cannot get a fee exemption. Once you pay the fee, you can’t get a refund or use it for another exam.
