Educational Qualification:
- MBBS degree included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
- Must be registered with the Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council
- Selected candidates must register with the West Bengal Medical Council within six months of joining
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025):
- Maximum: 36 years for ordinary medical graduates
- Maximum: 40 years for postgraduate qualification holders
- Relaxation: Up to 5 years for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen, 3 years for OBC candidates
WBHRB GDMO Marking Scheme 2025
Academic Marks (70 marks):
- Based on percentage of marks in MBBS degree
- 55-59.99%: 65 marks, 60-64.99%: 66 marks, 65-69.99%: 67 marks, 70-74.99%: 68 marks, 75% and above: 70 marks
- 0.5 marks deduction per additional attempt (max 2.5 marks deduction)
Experience Marks (15 marks):
- 0 to 15 marks based on years of medical experience (6 months minimum)
Interview Marks:
- 15 marks for personal interview
WBHRB GDMO Salary
Selected candidates will be placed inย Pay Level-16ย with a basic pay ofย โน56,100/-ย as per ROPA 2019. Additional allowances like DA, HRA, and MA will be applicable as per state government rules.
