West Bengal Police Recruitment 2023
Educational Qualification:- The applicant must have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
Age:- The applicant must not be less than 18 (Eighteen) years old and must not be more than 27 (Twenty Seven) years old as on 01.01.2023.
Pay Scale:- Rs. 22,700 – 58,500/-
Physical Test:- (1) For Warder: Long Distance Run – 1600 mtrs. (Qualifying time is 06 minutes 30 seconds).
(2) For Female Warder: Long Distance Run – 400 mtrs. (Qualifying time is 1 minute 50 seconds).
• Height For Warder (Male):-
1. Candidates of all categories (except Gorkhas/Garhwalis/Rajbanshis and ST) – 167 cm.
2. Gorkhas, Garhwalis, Rajbanshis and ST – 160 cm.
• Height For Warder (Female):-
1. Candidates of all categories (except Gorkhas/Garhwalis/Rajbanshis and ST) – 160 cm.
2. Gorkhas, Garhwalis, Rajbanshis and ST – 152 cm.
• Chest For Warder (Male):-
1. Candidates of all categories (except Gorkhas/Garhwalis/Rajbanshis and ST):- 78 cms. With expansion of 5cms. (78 cms – 83 cms)
2. Gorkhas, Garhwalis, Rajbanshis and ST:- 76 cms. With expansion of 5cms. (76 cms. – 81 cms.)
Fee:- (a) All categories except Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe of West Bengal only – Application Fee: Rs. 200/- (+Processing Fee: Rs. 20/-)
(b) SC/ST of West Bengal – Rs. 20/- (Only Processing Fee)
Selection Process:- Competitive Written Examination, Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Interview.
