Candidates have to complete their Master Degree in Physics or Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering/ Metallurgical Engineering/ Master’s degree in Anthropology/ MBBS Degree/ Bachelors Degree in Drilling or Mining or Mechanical or Electrical or Civil Engineering or Agricultural Engineering or Petroleum Technology/ Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering to apply for the posts.
UPSC Recruitment 2024 Age Limit
Applicant’s age should be less than 35 Years to be capable of applying for the posts. Age Relaxation will be applicable as per Indian Government Rules.
UPSC Recruitment 2024 Application Fees
Candidates have to pay Rs. 25/- as their Examination fees via Online Mode. Reserved Category candidates are exempted from paying the application fees.
Pay Scale of UPSC Recruitment 2024
Candidates after getting selected in the Position of Scientist B, Anthropologist & Assistant Professor will be able to receive a decent amount of money equivalent to Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.

- Document Upload:
- Upload the necessary documents supporting your claims in the application.
- Each claim needs its PDF file, keeping file sizes small (1 MB for most, 2 MB for specific modules).
- Ensure documents are clear when printed, and scanned at 200 dpi grayscale.
- Required Documents Include:
- Birth certificate or mark sheet showing date of birth.
- Educational certificates or provisional certificates with mark sheets.
- Any documents proving equivalent educational qualifications.
- Experience certificates from employers specifying job duration, duties, and pay.
- Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
- Declaration and community certificate for OBC candidates.
- Disability certificate for PwBD candidates issued by a medical board.

DOCUMENTS/ CERTIFICATES TO BE PRODUCED AT THE TIME OF UPSC INTERVIEW 2024
Printout of Online Application: Make sure you have a printed copy of the application you filled out online.
Original Documents/Certificates: Bring the actual original copies of the following documents along with self-attested photocopies:
a) Birth Certificate: If you don’t have a birth certificate, your 10th standard mark sheet showing your date of birth is acceptable. If your birth date isn’t on these documents, you can use your school leaving certificate.
b) Educational Certificates: Your degree or diploma certificates along with mark sheets for all years of study are needed. If you don’t have your final degree yet, a provisional certificate along with mark sheets will do.
c) Equivalent Qualifications: If you’re claiming an equivalent qualification, you’ll need a document showing the authority that recognizes it as equivalent.
d) Experience Certificates: These need to be in the prescribed format from your previous employers. They should mention the duration of your employment, your duties, and your pay.

e) Caste Certificate: If you’re applying under reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC, you need a caste certificate issued by the competent authority.
f) Creamy Layer Declaration: If you’re claiming a reservation under the OBC category, you need to declare that you don’t belong to the creamy layer. This is in addition to your community certificate.
g) Disability Certificate: If you’re a person with benchmark disabilities, you need a disability certificate issued by a medical board.
h) Name Change Documents: If you’ve changed your name after matriculation due to marriage, divorce, or other reasons, you need to provide specific documents depending on your situation.
i) Age Relaxation Documents: If you’re eligible for age relaxation due to specific reasons like being an ex-serviceman or a government employee, you need to provide relevant certificates.
j) Declaration for Current Government Employees: If you’re already working in a government job, you need to declare that you’ve informed your current employer about your job application.
k) Professional Registration and Other Claims: If you’re making claims related to professional registration, language skills, or any other qualifications, you need to provide certificates for those.
