UPSC Correction Window 2025 Opens for CDS II, NDA/ NA II from July 7

UPSC Correction Window 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the opening of a three-day correction window for candidates who have submitted applications for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination II 2025 and National Defence Academy (NDA)/Naval Academy (NA) Examination II 2025.

This one-time opportunity will allow aspirants to rectify errors in their submitted application forms from July 7, 2025 (10:00 AM) to July 9, 2025 (11:59 PM) via the UPSC online portal

What is the UPSC Correction Window?

The correction window is a provision given to candidates to edit or update any incorrect details filled during the original application process. According to the official press release by the Press Information Bureau (PIB), this facility is applicable to both the ‘Common Application Form’ (CAF) and the ‘Examination Application Form’.

This measure ensures transparency and offers applicants a fair chance to correct inadvertent mistakes, which otherwise could result in rejection or disqualification.

Only candidates who have successfully submitted their applications for NDA & NA II 2025 or CDS II 2025 and have completed fee payment (if applicable) are eligible to use the correction window. If your registration was incomplete or payment was not made, you will not be allowed to access the correction facility.

How to Use the UPSC Correction Window 2025?

Eligible candidates should follow the steps below between July 7 to July 9, 2025:

1. Visit the official UPSC website: upsconline.nic.in
2. Click on the link for “NDA & NA II / CDS II 2025 Correction Window”
3. Login using your Registration ID and Password
4. Select the part of the form (CAF or Exam Application) you wish to correct
5. Make the necessary edits or updates
6. Review all changes thoroughly before final submission
7. Submit and save/download the final corrected form for future reference

What Can You Edit?

You can edit most personal and academic information fields including:

• Name
• Date of Birth
• Gender
• Category (General/SC/ST/OBC/EWS)
• Educational qualifications
• Exam centre preferences
• Photo and signature upload (if required)

However, mobile number and email ID used for registration may not be editable, as they are essential for future communications.
