UPPSC Computer Assistant 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has initiated the online registration process for the Computer Assistant (Group ‘C’) posts under Advertisement No. A-4/E-1/2025. This selection process will be conducted in two phases: an objective-type written examination followed by a qualifying Hindi typing test on computer.

UPPSC Computer Assistant Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are advised to review the following eligibility requirements before applying online:
Nationality:
Only Indian citizens eligible as per the Commission’s notification.
Age Limit (as on July 1, 2025):
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 40 years
Upper Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST/OBC (U.P.): +5 years
- PwD (U.P.): up to 55 years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per rules
Educational Qualification:
Passed Intermediate Examination, and
- Diploma in Computer Science from a recognized institute
OR - Intermediate with “O” Level Diploma from DOEACC/NIELIT
Preferential Qualification (if applicable):
- Two years of service in the Territorial Army
- “B” Certificate of NCC

- Pay Matrix: ₹5200 – ₹20200
- Grade Pay: ₹2400
- Post Type: Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted
UPPSC Computer Assistant Exam Pattern 2025
The selection will be conducted in two phases.
Phase I – Written Examination:
- Type: Objective
- Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
- Total Questions: 100
- Total Marks: 100
- Negative Marking: 0.33 marks per incorrect answer
Phase II – Hindi Typing Test:
- Type: Qualifying
- Duration: 5 minutes
- Minimum Speed Required: 25 words per minute (WPM)
Final merit will be prepared based only on marks obtained in the written examination.
