The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has officially announced that the written examination for the District Sports Officer (DSO) recruitment 2025 will be conducted on November 2, 2025. The exam will be held in two sessions at a single examination center located at the UKPSC office in Haldwani. Admit cards for the same will be available for download from the commission’s official websites, psc.uk.gov.in or pscuk.net.in, starting from October 18, 2025.

UKPSC District Sports Officer Eligibility Criteria 2025
Educational Qualification:
To apply, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree. Have also played in a national-level sports competition.
Must have a Diploma or Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Coaching from NSNIS Patiala (or its centers), LNIPE Gwalior, or SGSU Gandhinagar.
Age Limit:
The age limit is 21 to 42 years as of 1 July 2025. You must be born between 2 July 1983 and 1 July 2004. Age relaxation is given for reserved categories as per rules.

The UKPSC DSO selection process has three steps. First, there is a written exam with multiple-choice questions. If you pass the exam, you’ll be called for an interview and document check. Final selection is based on your exam marks and eligibility.
