The UGC NET June 2025 exam dates have finally been announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA. According to the official schedule, the UGC NET June 2025 exams will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from June 25 to June 29, 2025.

Detailed Examination Pattern
The UGC NET June 2025 examination will consist of two papers, both of which are compulsory:
Paper I:
- Objective-type questions
- 100 marks
- Focuses on teaching/research aptitude, reasoning ability, comprehension, and general awareness
Paper II:
- Subject-specific objective-type questions
- 200 marks
There will be no break between the two papers. Both papers will be held continuously during the allotted shift.
UGC NET June 2025 Exam Date Out
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the exam schedule for UGC NET June 2025 on its website, bringing relief and clarity to thousands of aspirants across the country. As per the notification, the examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from June 25 to June 29, 2025.
Candidates can now check the detailed subject-wise schedule on the official portal. The exam will be held over five days in two shifts per day, and will cover 85 subjects, offering opportunities for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), eligibility for Assistant Professor positions, and admission to Ph.D. programmes.

Medium of Examination
The question papers will be provided in English and Hindi, except for language-specific papers. Candidates must answer in the medium they selected during the application process.

Exam Centre Intimation
NTA has confirmed that the exam city intimation slip will be available on the official UGC NET website about 10 days before the exam. This slip will help candidates plan their travel and accommodations well in advance.
Additionally, the admit cards will be released approximately 10 days prior to the start of the exams. Candidates should regularly check ugcnet.nta.ac.in for updates and ensure they download and print their admit card. The admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam centre.
