TPSC Senior Computer Assistant Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Application or Computer Science,
OR - Graduate in any discipline with 1-year Diploma in Computer / ‘O’ Level Certificate from a recognized institute
- B.Sc (IT), B.Tech (IT), MCA, or PGDCA (after graduation) are also eligible
Desirable
- Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok
- Permanent Resident Certificate (PRTC) of Tripura is mandatory
Age Limit (as on 31st July 2025)
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 40 years
- Upper age relaxation:
- SC/ST/PwD/Govt. Servants: 5 years
- ST/SC Govt. Employees: No additional relaxation beyond 5 years
TPSC SCA Selection Process 2025
The selection process includes two stages:
Stage 1: Written Examination – 85 Marks (2 hours)
- English (Grammar, Usage, Idioms, Vocabulary): 20 Questions
- Current Affairs: 20 Questions
- Job-Oriented Knowledge (Computer Fundamentals, Programming, etc.): 45 Questions
Stage 2: Interview/Personality Test – 15 Marks
- Conducted for candidates shortlisted in the written test (3x vacancy count)
- Assesses intellectual ability, personality traits, current affairs knowledge, moral integrity, leadership potential, etc.
TPSC SCA Pay Scale 2025
- Selected candidates will be appointed under Cell-1 of Level-9 of the Tripura State Pay Matrix 2018
- Additional allowances as per Tripura State Government norms
