The School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Delhi has released the official notification for SPA Delhi Recruitment 2025 to fill various non-teaching positions. Recognized as an “Institution of National Importance” under an Act of Parliament and governed by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, SPA Delhi offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to join a premier academic institution in administrative roles.

This recruitment drive is open for several posts including Registrar, Assistant, Junior Assistant, and Driver, under Group A and Group C categories. SPA Delhi Recruitment 2025 Vacancy Details

The total number of vacancies announced under this recruitment drive is 11, spread across 4 major non-teaching posts:

Eligibility Criteria

1. Registrar (Group A)

Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.

Experience:

• 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor or equivalent academic/admin posts.
• OR comparable experience in research institutions.

OR 15 years of administrative experience, with 8 years as Deputy Registrar or equivalent.

Desirable: LLB/MBA/Ph.D.

Age Limit: Preferably below 55 years.

Note: The age of superannuation for this post is 62 years.

2. Assistant (Group C)

Educational Qualification:

• 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Typing speed: 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer.

Experience: At least 5 years of clerical job experience.

Desirable: Diploma in Office Management/Secretarial Practice or NIELIT ‘O’ level.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years.

3. Junior Assistant (Group C)

Educational Qualification:

• 12th pass or equivalent.
• Typing speed: 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer.

Desirable: Diploma/Certificate in Office Management or Computer Literacy.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 27 years.

4. Driver (Group C)

Educational Qualification:

• 12th pass or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience as a light motor vehicle driver with a valid license.
• Knowledge of car mechanism.

Desirable: 1-year experience in a leading workshop.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years.

Selection Process

The selection for the various posts will be based on the following process:

Registrar: Interview (Shortlisting will be based on qualifications and experience).

Assistant / Junior Assistant / Driver:

• Written Test
• Skill Test (Typing test for Assistant & Junior Assistant; Driving test for Driver)
