Educational Qualification
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.
Age Limit (as on 01 May 2025)
- Maximum age: 35 years
- Age relaxation as per Government of India norms:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- PwD candidates: As per GOI rules

SCTIMST Apprentice Selection Process 2025
The selection process for SCTIMST General Apprentice will be conducted through a Written Test followed by Certificate Verification for qualified candidates.
Written Test Details:
- Date: 10 June 2025 at 10:00 AM
- Venue: Thiruvananthapuram
- Admit Card Download: From 07 June 2025 (4:00 PM) to 10 June 2025 (10:00 AM)
Only candidates who qualify the written test will be called for Certificate Verification on 11 June 2025. No candidate will be allowed to sit for the test without a valid Admit Card.
SCTIMST Apprentice Stipend
Selected candidates will receive a monthly consolidated stipend of ₹9,000/- during the 1-year apprenticeship period.
