Rabindra Bharati University aimed at preparing students for competitive examinations such as the UGC NET, along with personality development training. It was the first programme of its kind among West Bengal universities, inspired by the ideals of Rabindranath Tagore that education should be life-sustaining.
The programme also organizes pre-examination courses for SC, ST, OBC, Religious Minorities, and other Backward Communities with financial support from the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
