Rajasthan PTET 2024 Notification

Applications for Rajasthan PTET 2-year course and 4-year Integrated B.A, B.Ed or B.Sc, B.Ed has started from 6th March 2024. Online applications for Rajasthan PTET 2024 can be made from March 6 to March 31, 2024. Whereas the Rajasthan PTET entrance exam will be conducted on 9 June 2024. PTET 2024 exam will be conducted for the first time by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University. PT from VMOU is for 2 year B.Ed and 4-year Integrated B.A, B.Ed or B.Sc, B.Ed courses in Rajasthan. Last time PTET 2023 was organized in Rajasthan by Guru Gobind Tribal University, Banswara. This examination was last conducted on 21 May 2023. Rajasthan PTET 2024 Educational Qualification

The educational qualification for Rajasthan PTET 2024 is kept as follows.

PTET 2024 Syllabus: The candidate must have passed graduation and post-graduation examinations from a recognized university. According to the rules of the state government, candidates should have a minimum of 50% marks in graduate or post-graduate examinations for general category and economically backward classes and a minimum of 50% marks for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, Special Backward Class, Disabled and Widow, Divorced Women candidates of Rajasthan. 45% marks is mandatory.

BA-B.Ed or B.Sc-B.Ed Course 2024: Candidates must have passed the 12th class from a recognized board. It is mandatory to have a minimum of 50% marks for general category and economically backward class candidates and a minimum of 45% marks for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, Special Backward Class, Disabled and Widow, Divorced Women candidates of Rajasthan.

This year, students studying in class 12th can apply for BA-B. Ed or B.Sc-B.Ed course 2024. Similarly, students studying in graduate final year this year can also apply online for PTET 2024. However, they have to be eligible by the last date of counseling registration to participate in counseling. That is, by the last date of counseling, they should have the mark sheet with the eligibility marks.

Rajasthan PTET 2024 Application Fee

The application fee for Rajasthan PTET 2024 has been fixed at Rs.500/- for all candidates. Candidates can pay the application fee till 31 March 2024.

Counseling Fee: The counseling fee for online counseling is Rs.5000/-. This fee covers the entire counseling process. However, candidates who participate in counseling but fail to report to the allotted college will have Rs.200/- deducted from their fee. If a candidate fails to pay the fee and the college does not report, a deduction of Rs.600/- will be made.

Rajasthan PTET 2024 Exam Pattern

• Type of Questions: MCQ
• Duration : 3 hours
• No. of questions: 200
• Total marks: 600
• No Negative Marking.

• The question paper of Rajasthan PTET 2024 will be set in both Hindi and English.
• Questions related to mental ability, teaching attitude, general awareness, and language proficiency (Hindi or English) will be asked in the examination.
• A total of 200 questions will be asked in the exam, which will be of a total of 600 marks.
• Each question will be of 3 marks. But the marks weightage of questions in the Teaching Attitude and Aptitude section will be 3, 2, 1, 0.
• There is no negative marking in Rajasthan PTET Exam 2024.

Rajasthan PTET 2024 Syllabus

Rajasthan PTET Syllabus 2024 has been released. There will be one question paper in the PTET exam, which will have four parts. There will be 50 questions in each part and there will be a total of 200 multiple choice questions in the question paper and the exam duration will be three hours.

• Mental Ability: The Mental Ability section will consist of 50 objective-type multiple-choice questions to test the following abilities:

(1) Reasoning (2) Imagination (3) Judgment and Decision Making (4) Creative Thinking (5) Generalization (6) Drawing Conclusions etc.

• Teaching Attitude and Aptitude Test: The Teaching Attitude and Aptitude Test section will consist of 50 questions mainly in the following areas:

(1) Social maturity, (2) Leadership, (3) Professional commitment, (4) Interpersonal relationships. (5) Communication, (6) Awareness etc.

This will be a test of attitude and awareness consisting of answers to questions 3, 2, . And will be given on a scale of 0.

• General Awareness: The General Awareness section will mainly consist of 50 objective-type multiple-choice questions in the following areas:

(1) Current Affairs (National and International), (2) Indian History and Culture; (3) India and its natural resources (4) Great Indian personalities (past and Present), (5) Environmental Awareness, (6) Knowledge about Rajasthan, etc.

• Language Proficiency (Hindi or English): The Language Proficiency (English or Hindi) section will consist of 50 objective type multiple choice questions regarding proficiency in Hindi or English language mainly related to the following aspects:

(1) Vocabulary, (2) Functional grammar, (3) Sentence structures, (4) Comprehension, etc.
