PXE Internship 2025: The Proof & Experimental Establishment (PXE), DRDO Chandipur, has announced a 6-month paid internship programme for final-year B.Tech students currently in their 7th or 8th semester. This internship will commence on 1st August 2025 and offers a monthly stipend of ₹5,000, provided the student maintains at least 15 working days of physical attendance per month.
The stipend will be paid in two equal installments, at the end of the third and sixth months.
PXE Internship 2025 Vacancies
A total of 7 internship vacancies are available in the following disciplines: Computer Science & Engineering (2 vacancies) [Branch Code: CS], Electronics & Communication Engineering (3 vacancies) [ECE], Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (1 vacancy) [IN], and Mechanical Engineering (1 vacancy) [ME].
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, candidates must be pursuing their final year of a full-time B.Tech degree from a recognized Indian university and must have secured a minimum of 8.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) in all previous semesters. The applicant’s age must be below 28 years as of the closing date of application.

Stipend & Duration
- Stipend: ₹5,000 per month (paid in two parts).
- Duration: 6 months, starting 1st August 2025.
- Students must maintain minimum 15 working days of physical attendance per month to be eligible for stipend and certificate.
Selection Process for PXE Internship 2025
Selection will be purely merit-based, and only shortlisted candidates will be informed about the selection and joining procedures. Selected candidates will need to submit an undertaking, a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the college, a medical fitness certificate, police verification, and other supporting documents at the time of joining.

PXE Internship 2025 How to Apply
Interested students must download the application form (Appendix A) from the official DRDO website and fill it accurately. Along with the application, candidates must include a request letter from their college (Appendix B), self-attested semester-wise mark sheets, Aadhaar card, college ID, a brief bio-data (max 300 words), and any optional awards or memberships.
