Position Details in National Quantum Mission
IACS is inviting applications for one Research Associate-III (RA-III) position to work on an advanced research project titled:
“Field-deployable quantum-enhanced sensors on integrated hybrid platform.”
This role falls under the School of Physical Sciences and will be supervised by Professor Bimalendu Deb, a noted physicist in the field of quantum optics and cold atom research.
The appointment will be made on a contractual basis for one year, with the possibility of extension based on the candidate’s performance and project requirements.
National Quantum Mission Research Project Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this research role, the candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Ph.D. in Physics from a recognized institution.
- Minimum one year of post-doctoral research experience.
- Strong academic background with a consistent record of research publications.
- Hands-on research experience in cold atoms, quantum optics, or similar fields will be preferred.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates who have already worked in theoretical or experimental quantum physics and are looking to expand their research credentials under a national-level scientific initiative.

Fellowship and Benefits
