Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU) has reopened the admission portal for its B.Ed. Special Education (ODL) Programme for the 2025–2027 academic session. Candidates aspiring to pursue specialization in Intellectual & Developmental Disability, Hearing Impairment, or Visual Impairment now have time until 15th July 2025 to complete their online applications.
NSOU B.Ed Special Education Admission 2025 – Last Date Extended

NSOU B.Ed Special Education Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill one of the following academic conditions:
With D.Ed. in Special Education (RCI approved)
- At least 50% marks in Bachelor’s/Master’s in relevant subjects
- Engineering graduates with 55% marks in relevant fields
Without D.Ed. in Special Education
- Same academic marks criteria as above
- Course duration increases by one semester
Reservations and Relaxations
- SC: 22%, ST: 6%, OBC-A: 10%, OBC-B: 7%, PwD: 3%
- Weightage for parents of children with disabilities
