NLCIL Recruitment 2025 – Selection Process
The selection is based on a Written Test of 100 marks:
- Part-I: 30 questions on General Aptitude (Quantitative, Reasoning, General Awareness) – Diploma level
- Part-II: 70 questions on subject knowledge
- Type: Objective-type questions, no negative marking
- Duration: 120 minutes
- Language: English only

Qualifying Marks:
- UR/EWS: 50%
- SC/ST/OBC-NCL (Reserved Categories): 40%
Bonus Marks:
- Candidates who are Project Affected Persons (PAPs) of NLCIL Neyveli Projects will get 20 bonus marks.
Final merit will be calculated on the total marks, including any bonus. If there’s a tie, it will be resolved by age seniority and then alphabetical order of names.
