Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Written Test (100 Marks).
How to Apply for NLC India Limited Recruitment 2024
- If you meet all the requirements, go to the NLCIL website and register or apply online.
- Apply only through the NLC India Limited website, which is www.nlcindia.in.
- Before applying online, make sure you have a mobile number and an active personal email ID. Keep them active throughout the selection process because NLCIL will communicate with you through SMS or email.
- Upload scanned copies of the required documents in the specified format to prove your eligibility. Otherwise, your application may be rejected.
- If you’re applying for more than one position, submit separate application forms and receipts for each position.
- Submit only one application for each position. If you submit multiple applications, only the last one will be considered.
- Check that you’ve uploaded all the necessary documents before submitting your application. You can view the documents you’ve uploaded in the online portal.
- After submitting your application online, print the registration form. You’ll need to bring it along with self-attested copies of your certificates and documents for verification.
- Applications will be shortlisted based solely on the documents you uploaded during registration.
- Don’t send any paper applications by mail. The process is entirely online, so manual applications won’t be accepted.
- The online application portal will be open from 10:00 AM on March 25, 2024, to 5:00 PM on April 24, 2024.
- Examination Pattern for NLC India Limited Recruitment 2024:-
- Selection is based on a Written Test worth 100 marks.
- The Written Test consists of 100 Multiple Choice Objective Type questions, each carrying one mark.
- There are no negative marks for wrong answers.
- For Junior Engineer (F1-S grade) positions, the Written Test is divided into:
- Quantitative Aptitude, Logical reasoning, and General Awareness (30 marks)
Subject Knowledge (70 marks) - For Clerical Assistant (F2-W grade) and Industrial Worker (F2-W grade) positions, the Written Test covers:
- Quantitative Aptitude, Logical reasoning, and General Awareness (100 marks)
- The Written Test lasts for 120 minutes and is conducted only in English.
- Minimum qualifying marks for UR & EWS candidates are 50%, while for SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates, it’s 40% for reserved vacancies.
- Project Affected Persons (PAPs of NLCIL Project) can get 20 bonus marks (limited to one beneficiary per award), which are added to their overall score.
- Final selection is based on the total score in the Written Test, including bonus marks for PAP candidates, with due reservation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS categories.
- In case of a tie at the cutoff level, the following criteria are applied sequentially until the tie is resolved:
- Date of Birth: The older candidate is placed higher.
- Alphabetical order of first name.

- NLC India Limited can cancel, modify, or reopen the selection process without notice.
