Eligibility Criteria for NIFT Patna Group-C Recruitment 2024
Education Qualification: –
Assistant (Admin) –Â
- Candidate must have Passed a Graduate from a recognized university/ institution.
- At least 2 years experience in Administration.
- Typing speed of at least 40 wpm in English / Hindi.
Machine Mechanic –
- 10th or above
- Full-time three-year diploma after 10th from a recognized state, central Board of Technical Education and Training in Mechanical Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering/ Instrumentation Technology.
OR - Full-time two years Diploma after 10th from recognized ITI/ NSTI / IDTR/ IGTR in Machinist/ Mechanic Machine Tools Maintenance/ Technician Mechatronics/ Textile Mechatronics(NSQF level 5).
Assistant (Finance & Accounts) –
- Candidate must have Passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from a recognized University / Institution with two years experience in Finance and Accounts matters.
Or - Candidate must have Passed a Master’s Degree in Commerce from a recognized University / Institution with one year experience in Finance and Accounts matters.
- Working Knowledge of Accounting Software
Assistant Warden (Girls) –
- Candidate must have Passed a Graduate from a recognized University/ Institution
Experience – Minimum one year experience as Assistant Warden in an educational institution under Central Government/ State Government/ Autonomous Bodies
Stenographer Grade – III –
- Candidate must have Passed a Graduate from a recognized University/ Institution
- Minimum speed of 80 wpm in shorthand and 40 wpm in typing
- Minimum 2 years experience in Govt./ Semi Govt./ State Govt/ UT/ Autonomous Organization/ PSU.
- Proficiency in Computer Operation
Nurse –
- Candidate must have Passed a B. Sc (Hons.) in Nursing from a recognized University or Institute/ Regular course in B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized university or Institute/ Post basis B.Sc. (Nursing) from a recognized university or Institute
Junior Assistant –
- Candidate must have Passed a 10+2 equivalent from any recognized Board.
- A typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi
- Computer proficiency, which includes: Competency in MS Word / applicable software for written / mail correspondence.
Lab Assistant –
- Candidate must have Passed a 10th or above
Professional qualification – Full-time year or two-year Diploma/certificate after 10th (NSQF level 4 or 5) or from any Govt. recognised institute/ITI in Apparel Manufacturing Technology, sewing technology, Fashion Design, and Technology.
Library Assistant –
- Candidate must have Passed a Graduate from a recognized University / Institution with a diploma in Library Science OR Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science from a recognized University/ Institution.
- At least one year of working experience in a well-established Library.
Age Limit
Candidates’ upper age limit should be 27 years according to their posts as per the last date of receipt of the application form. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC candidates will be applicable as per Govt. instructions.
Selection Process For NIFT Patna Recruitment 2024
Selection will be through a written Exam and skill test of shortlisted candidates. The merit list will be drawn on the basis of a written test and a skill test (whichever is applicable). Candidate must bring all original documents for verification.

Application Fee
The applicant has to pay an application fee of Rs. 590/- (Application Fee Rs. 500/- (GST @ 18% = Rs. 90/-). Demand A draft should be drawn in favor of NIFT for the requisite fee, payable at Patna. Applications accepted without fee (excluding exempted category) will be rejected.
