NEST 2025 Exam Pattern
The NEST 2025 exam will be conducted in online mode as a Computer-Based Test (CBT). The total duration of the exam is 3.5 hours, starting from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The test will consist of four subjects—Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics—and each section will have objective multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
While all four sections are part of the test, only the best three section scores will be considered for preparing the merit list. The exam includes negative marking, where each correct answer will earn +3 marks, and each wrong answer will result in a deduction of 1 mark.
