NARL JRF Recruitment 2025
NARL is inviting online applications for 13 Junior Research Fellow posts. Selected candidates will receive a monthly fellowship of ₹37,000 for the first two years and ₹42,000 in subsequent years. Candidates will get an opportunity to work on national-level projects in weather & climate, space weather, regional climate, urbanization, and pollution.

NARL JRF Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have:
Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Science or Engineering with First Class or equivalent CGPA Grade in the following disciplines:
- Physics
- Atmospheric Science
- Space Physics
- Meteorology
- Earth System Sciences
- Geophysics
- Remote Sensing
- Applied Chemistry with Physics / Atmospheric Science / Space Physics / Meteorology as the major subject
OR
Specialization in:
- Electronics Engineering
- Communication Engineering
- Optical Engineering
- Photonics
- Instrumentation Engineering
AND
- Qualified in CSIR-UGC NET / GATE / JAM / JEST with validity.
Note: Final year students may also apply, but they must produce the final marks sheet/P.G. degree certificate at the time of the interview.
Age Limit
Preferably below 28 years as on the last date of application submission (6th July 2025).
Age Relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-servicemen/PwD as per Government of India norms.

NARL JRF Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
The selection of candidates for NARL JRF Recruitment 2025 will be based on:
- Interview
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview at NARL, Gadanki.
- Sleeper class train fare will be reimbursed for attending the interview.

Selected candidates will be appointed as Junior Research Fellows (JRF) and will receive the following monthly fellowship:
