MP PAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for MP PAT 2025, a candidate must have:
- Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Agriculture Group subjects, or Science Group subjects with combinations of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.
- For B.Tech Agriculture Engineering: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English are required.
- Students appearing in 10+2 exams in 2025 can also apply, but admission will be provisional until final results are submitted.
- Age Limit: There is no upper or lower age limit.
Reservation & Seat Allotment
- SC: 15%, ST: 21%, OBC: 27% (for MP domiciles)
- EWS Category: 10% (as per government norms)
- Female Candidates: 33% horizontal reservation
- Children of farmers (MP Domicile): 5% horizontal reservation
- Sainik and Freedom Fighter Category: 3% reservation
- Divyang (PWD): 5% of seats horizontally reserved
Payment & NRI Quota Seats
- 20% of the total seats in each program are designated as Payment Seats, including reserved category allocations.
- 5% of the total intake is reserved for NRI candidates.
- NRI applicants must apply with relevant documentation by 20 May 2025.
Exam Pattern & Selection Process
The PAT 2025 will be conducted in two shifts per day starting from 26 July 2025. The test will be of 3 hours duration, and include questions from the relevant subject groups. The exam will be conducted online.
Selection will be based on merit, which is prepared using percentile scores. In case of a tie, preference is given based on subject-wise weightage such as Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics depending on the course.
