Eligibility Criteria for Madras High Court Group-B & C Recruitment 2024
Education Qualification: –
Senior Grade Stenographer (Group-B) –Â
- Candidate must have a Degree from any recognized University.
Junior Grade Stenographer (Group-C) –Â
- Candidate must have a 12th or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University.
Translator/Interpreter (Group-C) –Â
- Candidate must have a Degree in Telugu/Malayalam language as the main subject of a recognized University.
Junior Clerk (Group-C) –
- Candidate must have a 12th or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University.
Typist (Group-C) –
- Candidate must have a 12th or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University.
Driver (Group-C) –
- Candidate must have an 8th or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Multi-Tasking Staff (General) (Group-C) –
- A pass in SSLC or its equivalent from a recognized Board of Education.

Selection Process For MHC Recruitment 2024
Eligible candidates will be called for a selection process based on their written test, skill test, and oral test. The post-wise selection process is given below:
(i) Senior Grade Stenographer:
Common Written Examination covering various subjects.
English Shorthand Test.
English Language Proficiency Test.
(ii) Translator/Interpreter:
Common Written Examination covering various subjects.
Translation Skill Test from English to Telugu/Malayalam and vice versa.
(iii) Junior Grade Stenographer:
Common Written Examination covering various subjects.
English Shorthand Test.
(iv) Junior Clerk & Typist:
Common Written Examination covering various subjects.
English Typewriting Test for Typists.
(v) Driver:
Written Examination covering driving-related topics and general knowledge.
Driving Skill Test.
(vi) Multi-Tasking Staff (General):
Written Examination covering general knowledge and household duties.
Skill Test assessing various household tasks.
