Educational Qualification & Experience
- Accountant: Graduate/PG with Intermediate pass of CA/ICWA + 3 years relevant experience.
- Hindi Translator: PG in Hindi + 3 years experience in translation.
- Technician (Survey & Draftsman): Matric + ITI + 3 years experience.
- Technician (Sampling): B.Sc. + 3 years experience.
- Technician (Laboratory): B.Sc. in Chemistry/Physics/Geology + 3 years experience.
- Assistant (Materials): Graduate with Mathematics or B.Com + Typing + 3 years experience.
- Assistant (Accounts): B.Com + 3 years experience (SAP desirable).
- Stenographer (English): Graduate + Shorthand/Typing certificate + 3 years experience.
- Assistant (Hindi): Graduate with Hindi/English + Typing + 3 years experience.
- Electrician: Matric + ITI (Electrical) + Wireman certificate + 3 years experience.
- Machinist: Matric + ITI + 3 years experience.
- Technician (Drilling): Matric + ITI + 3 years experience.
- Mechanic: Matric + ITI + 3 years experience.

MECL Non-Executive Selection Process 2025
The selection process will consist of:
Written Test (100% weightage)
Conducted in Nagpur only.
Category-wise cut-offs:
- UR/OBC/EWS: 50%
- SC/ST: 45%
- PwBD: Relaxed as per Govt norms.
Document Verification
Candidates shortlisted from the written test (up to 1:7 ratio) will undergo document verification.
Skill/Trade Test (Qualifying)
- Final merit list based on written test marks.
- Skill/Trade Test is qualifying only (not for merit ranking).

Selected candidates will receive IDA Pay Scales with additional benefits:
