The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially released Advertisement Notification No. 05 of 2025 for the recruitment of Naib Tehsildar in the Revenue Department. Domicile
Candidates must be domiciles of Jammu & Kashmir UT and possess a valid Domicile Certificate issued on or before the last date of application.

- Graduation from a recognized university.

The selection process includes:
- OMR-based Written Examination (Objective-type)
- Urdu Language Test (Descriptive & Qualifying in nature)
Note: There will be no interview as per S.O. 36 of 2025 dated 14th February 2025.

Paper-I: Written Exam (Objective MCQs)
Marks: 120
Time: 2 hours
Negative Marking: 0.25 per wrong answer
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- 20% for OM category
- 15% for Reserved categories
Paper-II: Urdu Language Test (Qualifying)
Marks: 50
Time: 1 hour

- Reading Comprehension – 20 marks
- Writing (Letter, Essay, Translation) – 30 marks
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- OM: 40% overall (with 33% in each section)
- Reserved: 35% overall (with 33% in each section)
