Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• A Postgraduate Medical Degree (MD/MS/DNB) in the respective discipline from a recognized university/institute.
• For Dentistry, MDS in the respective discipline.

Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit: 45 years
• Age relaxation: OBC – 3 years, SC/ST – 5 years, PwBD – additional 10 years

JIPMER Senior Resident Application Fee 2025

Fee is non-refundable and payable only through online mode.

Selection Process

The selection for Senior Residents will be conducted through two stages:

Written Test (85% weightage)

• Duration: 1.5 hours
• Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Pattern: 40 MCQs relevant to the applied discipline

Interview (15% weightage)

• Conducted only for shortlisted candidates based on written exam

JIPMER Senior Resident Salary 2025

Selected candidates will be paid a salary of ₹67,700 per month in Level 11 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix along with NPA (if applicable). In addition, admissible allowances will be provided as per institute norms.
