Jadavpur University has officially announced admission to its Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety & Environmental Management for the academic session 2025–26. This is a three-semester professional course.
According to the official notification released by the School of Environmental Studies, classes for the program will commence on September 1, 2025, and will be held in the evening from 6:00 PM to 8:15 PM, making it convenient for working professionals to attend. The course will be conducted at the Jadavpur University Main Campus, Kolkata.
Eligibility Criteria
The program is inclusive of candidates from science and engineering backgrounds:
- Category 1: B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
- Category 2: B.E. / B.Tech. in any discipline, B.Arch., or B.Pharm. (AICTE approved)
- Category 3: Diploma in any engineering stream (except IT and CS)
- Category 4: Certified Junior Safety Officers (West Bengal Govt. approved course)
Those appearing in their final examination are also eligible to apply. However, students from Arts and Commerce streams are not eligible.
