IPC Pharmacovigilance Internship 2025 Duration and Categories

The internship is available in three different categories depending on the duration:

  • Category I – 1 Month
  • Category II – 3 Months
  • Category III – 6 Months

Who Can Apply for IPC Pharmacovigilance Internship 2025?

Students or graduates from the following fields are eligible to apply:

  • Pharmaceutical Sciences (B. Pharm, M. Pharm, Pharm D, Ph.D.)
  • Medical Sciences (MBBS, MD, DM)
  • Dental Sciences (BDS, MDS, Ph.D.)

IPC Pharmacovigilance Internship 2025 Selection Criteria

Here’s what you need to know about the selection process:

  • Interns will be selected based on the requirements of PvPI.
  • Candidates must have scored first class in graduation or post-graduation.
  • A forwarding letter from your Head of Department or Institution is required.
  • Undergraduate students must also provide a recommendation letter from their college/university.
  • Selected candidates will be informed by email.

What Will Interns Do?

During the internship, interns will:

  • Follow all rules of NCC-PvPI.
  • Help with the processing of Adverse Events (AE) and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR).
  • Use tools like VigiFlow and ADRMS for data entry.
  • Perform tasks given by NCC-PvPI staff.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of the collected data.

Fees and Other Details

Unlike other internships, this one comes with a training fee. The fee must be paid within 15 days of receiving the confirmation email:

  • 1 Month – ₹2,000
  • >1 to 3 Months – ₹5,000
  • >3 to 6 Months – ₹10,000

Note:

  • No stipend or accommodation will be provided.
  • Fees are non-refundable.
  • Interns must carry their own laptops.
