Eligibility Criteria for IITM Pune Recruitment 2024
Education Qualification: –
Research Associate –
- Candidate must have Passed a Doctorate degree from a recognized University in Meteorology/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Oceanic Sciences/ Physics/ Applied Physics/ Geophysics / Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics/ Statistics/ Chemistry/ Mechanical Engineering/ Aerospace Engineering/ Geology/ Earth Sciences/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications or related subjects and having at least one first-author research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) journal in the relevant field.
Tenure – 01 year (Extendable by another 02 years depending on the performance)
Age Limit – Candidates’ upper age limit should be 35 years according to their posts.
Research Fellow –
- Candidate must have Passed a Post Graduate degree from a recognized University in Physical
Sciences
OR - M. Tech. in Atmospheric/ Oceanic Sciences or related subjects.
OR - Master’s degree from any branch of Engineering.
Tenure – 04 years (The candidate needs to register for a Ph.D. within first two years, or as per the guidelines of CSIR/UGC)
Age Limit – Candidates’ upper age limit should be from 28 years according to their posts.
Upper Age Limit – The upper age limit is relaxed by 05 years for SC, ST, Persons with Benchmark Disability
(PwBD) and Women candidates, and 03 years for OBC (Non-creamy-layer) candidates.

Selection Process for IITM Pune Recruitment 2024
