Opportunity to Work with DGFT, Multiple Young Professional Vacancies Open

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) is inviting applications for the post of Young Professionals at its headquarters in New Delhi. This engagement is aimed at attracting talented professionals from diverse educational and professional backgrounds to assist in the development and execution of foreign trade policies.

The appointment will be on a temporary contract basis for one year.

DGFT Young Professional Post Details

The recruitment is open to candidates from different academic disciplines. There are two main categories of Young Professional positions:

General Young Professional:

Fields: Economics, Law, Management, Science, IT, or Engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Economics, preferably with specialization in International Trade.
  • Master’s Degree in Law.
  • MBA or equivalent in Management.
  • Graduate in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) or Master’s in Science.

Desirable Experience: At least one year of relevant professional experience. Proficiency in computer skills is also desired.

Age Limit: Below 35 years as of 1st July 2025.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in any field along with a diploma or degree in Graphic Design or Multimedia.
  • Must be proficient in software like Adobe Suite, CorelDraw, Canva, and video editing tools.
  • Creativity and possession of relevant certifications will be considered an advantage.

Desirable Experience: Minimum of 3 years in multimedia or graphic design.

Age Limit: Below 35 years as of 1st July 2025.

    The total number of vacancies has not been disclosed yet and will be announced in due course.

    DGFT Young Professional Salary

    The selected Young Professionals will be paid a fixed monthly salary of ₹70,000. This is a consolidated amount and includes all applicable deductions like professional tax or TDS. No additional perks or allowances will be provided.
