CSIR-NIO Mumbai Eligibility 2025
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. Educational Qualification & Passing Year:
- Technician Apprentice (Diploma): Three Years Full-time Diploma in the relevant Engineering/Technology trade from a recognized board/university.
- Graduate Apprentice (Non-Engineering): Full-time Graduation Degree in any Science discipline (for Oceanography) / any discipline (for General Admin) from a recognized university.
- Crucial Passing Year: Candidates must have passed their qualifying exam (Diploma/Degree) in 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025 only.
2. Age Limit (as on date of interview):
- For Technician/Diploma Apprentices: Minimum 18 years, Maximum 24 years.
- For Graduate/Degree Apprentices: Minimum 21 years, Maximum 26 years.
3. Age Relaxation:
Upper age limit is relaxable as per Government of India guidelines:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PwBD: Up to 10 years (up to 15 years for SC/ST PwBD, up to 13 years for OBC PwBD).
- Ex-Servicemen: As per extant rules.
