The CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute (CSIR-NGRI), Hyderabad, has released the CSIR NGRI Recruitment 2025 notification for the recruitment of Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Junior Stenographer (JSG) posts. Educational Qualifications
Junior Secretariat Assistant (Gen) – Post Code: JSA
- 10+2/XII or equivalent
- Proficiency in computer typing (35 WPM in English or 30 WPM in Hindi)
Junior Stenographer – Post Code: JSG
- 10+2/XII or equivalent
- Proficiency in stenography (80 WPM with transcription in 50 mins for English or 65 mins for Hindi)
Age Limit (as on 30.06.2025)

CSIR NGRI Selection Process 2025
For Junior Secretariat Assistant:
- Proficiency Typing Test (Qualifying in nature)
- Competitive Written Exam (Paper-I & Paper-II)
- Paper-I (Mental Ability): 100 questions – 200 marks
- Paper-II (General Awareness & English): 100 questions – 300 marks
For Junior Stenographer:
- Proficiency in Stenography (Qualifying)
- Written Test (Single paper, 3 parts: GI & Reasoning, GA, English – 200 marks)
Only candidates who qualify the skill test will be considered for the final merit list based on written test scores.
