CSIR IIP 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, candidates must meet the eligibility in terms of age, qualification, and experience.
Age Limit
- Technical Assistant: Maximum 28 years
- Technician(1): Maximum 28 years
Relaxation applicable as per Govt. norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-servicemen.
Educational Qualification
- Technical Assistant: B.Sc. with 60% marks and relevant experience or diploma/professional qualification as required per post.
- Technician(1): 10th pass with 55% marks and ITI certificate/Apprenticeship/Experience in relevant trade.
CSIR IIP 2025 Selection Process
The recruitment process includes two stages: Trade/Skill Test and Competitive Exam.
Trade/Skill Test: Qualifying stage to shortlist candidates for the written test.
Written Examination (OMR/CBT): Objective-type test with three papers – Paper I (Mental Ability), Paper II (General Awareness, English), and Paper III (Subject-specific).
- Final merit is based on Paper II and III performance.
