The Coffee Board of India, under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, is offering an excellent short-term research opportunity at its prestigious Centre of Excellence in Hassan, Karnataka.

Position Details for Coffee Board
The Coffee Board is recruiting for the following posts:
Young Professional
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Agricultural Entomology or Microbiology
- Preferred Experience: Mass production of biocontrol agents and working knowledge of computers
- Age Limit: Up to 35 years
- Monthly Remuneration: ₹25,000 (consolidated)
- Nature of Work: Assist the technical expert in laboratory and field-based biocontrol agent production at the Centre of Excellence, Hassan
Appointment Terms
- Tenure: Initial contract for 11 months, extendable by another 11 months based on institutional requirements.
- Working Days: Monday to Saturday.
- Leave Policy: 1 day of casual leave per month (beyond which deductions apply).
- Other Benefits: These are purely temporary positions and do not carry allowances such as HRA, DA, or medical benefits.
Candidates must accept all terms and conditions at the time of joining and will be expected to join duty within 7 days of receiving the appointment order. These are non-regular posts, and there is no claim for future permanent employment in the Coffee Board.
