APEDA Eligibility Criteria 2025
Nationality
A candidate must be:
- An Indian citizen, or
- A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee (before 1st Jan 1962), or
- A person of Indian origin who migrated from select countries to settle in India permanently.
Age Limit (as on last date)
- AGM Posts: Maximum 35 years
- Assistant Manager & Junior Hindi Translator: Maximum 30 years
- Age relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwD: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years + service rendered

APEDA Selection Process 2025
The selection of the APEDA Recruitment will be based on Written Exam and Interview for most posts. The pattern varies by post:
1. AGM Posts
- Written Test: Objective + Descriptive (100 marks)
- Interview: 40 marks
- Objective Sections: General Management, Reasoning, Current Affairs, Economics, English, IT
- Descriptive: Subject-specific (as per post)
2. Assistant Manager Posts
Single written paper (100 marks, 2.5 hours)
- General Awareness, APEDA Knowledge, Subject Knowledge
- Essay and Precis writing
3. Junior Hindi Translator
- Objective Test + Descriptive (Translation passages)
- Total Marks: 150
- Duration: 3 hours
Qualifying Marks:
- SC/ST: 50%
- Others: 60%
